Pauline and I were away on holiday when we heard the unbelievable news that our dear friend and GPU member Nick Bowler had passed away. He will be sorely missed.
Nick always thought of others before himself, I was only talking to him 72 hours before he died, when I asked about his health he said "Don't worry about me, you go and enjoy your holiday"
While we were away we visited a church in Aix de Provence and took the opportunity to light a candle for him.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic the Lord Warden's gathering at Walmer Castle did not be take place, therefore the usual gathering on the beach did not happen.
With the relaxing of Lockdown six of the GPU took the opportunity to have three days away in Bournemouth at the end of May.
